In these dark days of pub closures it is gratifying to see the renaissance of a former classic York pub, The Fox Inn!
There is a small front Snug Bar with photos on the wall that remind you of the pub's heyday when York Carriageworks used to pack it out with teatime drinkers slaking their post work thirsts and a further 2 other lounge areas. It serves 4 bitters, 2 lagers and the usual spirits and wines
Traditional home cooked Sunday Lunch,
£5.95 for either a Lamb or Beef dinner.
There is a large beer garden to the back that has a kids play area and mini assault course that will keep the kids entertained while you enjoy a traditional pint in the warm surroundings
